DOWN THE BUNNY HOLE

For the Shelburne Museum's National Paperwork in 3-D show in Shelburne, Vermont, we installed a 20 foot long sculpture in the silo of the round barn. The only view into the space was through a three-foot tall window, so the viewer peered into a mysterious tunnel.

After overhearing a visitor describe the piece as a giant intestinal tract, we placed a paper rabbit inside and called the piece Down The Rabbit Hole. It was also known as Tunnel Vision.

The giant silo was the center of the round barn. We placed lit sconces along the outside wall, directing the public to the steps leading up to the viewing window .
